Australia Post Parcel Post, metro areas. Read 14 October 2026.

  • Interstate, order by about Fri 4 December. That allows 10 business days to arrive by Fri 18 December. Our sums, not a maker's promise.
  • Order chocolate and fudge first. Several makers here may hold parcels back in hot weather, so allow for a wait.
  • Outside a metro area, allow extra time. These are the maker's last day to post, so order well before them.
  • A stocking filler can cost less than its postage. Buy two or three from one maker to share a parcel, or collect: check hours first.

Stocking filler questions

What are good stocking fillers for adults?

Small things they'd enjoy but wouldn't buy for themselves. Truffle Hill's truffle salt, a bottle of Jibba's Hot Sauce, Bahen & Co's almond and sea salt bar or a bar of Moon Haven soap all fit. Pick "Foodie" or "Won't melt in December" above for more.

What stocking fillers won't melt?

Anything without chocolate: soap, tea and dukkah. Try Moon Haven's Scent of Margaret River soap, Capricopia's goat's milk soap, Seven Seas Tea's Australian Billy Tea or Eagle Bay Olives' dukkah. Pick "Won't melt in December" above.

How do I stop chocolate melting in a stocking?

Keep it somewhere cool and put it in the stocking last thing on Christmas Eve. Little Otto's Big Choc Shop says its chocolate melts at 22 degrees and over. Gabriel Chocolate won't send in extreme heat, and Bahen & Co, Temper Temper and Margaret River Fudge Factory may hold parcels back in hot weather, so order chocolate early.

What are good stocking fillers for women?

Something small she'll keep using: lip balm, a candle tin or good tea. Vasse Virgin's vanilla lip balm stick, Ocean House Collection's watermelon travel tin and Margaret River Tea Company's Injidup Earl Grey all fit a stocking. Pick "For her" above.

What are good stocking fillers for men?

Hot sauce, coffee, or a soap that smells of timber. Jibba's Tropical Habanero, Obison's Wakey Wakey! coffee, and Elamoore Natural Soaps' cedarwood and walnut-shell bar, which the maker says suits men and women alike. Pick "For him" above.

What are good stocking fillers for kids?

A bag of rocky road or honeycomb. Little Otto's Cool Kids Classic rocky road swaps the nuts for pretzels; the maker calls it nut free but its listing shows no ingredients, so ask before ordering if nuts matter. Candy Cow's honeycomb toffee is made with marri honey at its shop in Cowaramup.

When should I order so it arrives before Christmas?

Interstate, order by about Fri 4 December. Within WA, you have a little longer. Truffle Hill and Vasse Virgin both quote 7 to 10 business days, so we allowed 10 to arrive by Fri 18 December: our sums, not a maker's promise. Australia Post's last metro Parcel Post days from WA run from Mon 14 December (NT) to Tue 22 December (within WA), so check its Christmas sending dates.

Are these stocking fillers made in WA?

Yes. Every maker here is a South West business, from Eagle Bay and Busselton down to Margaret River and across to Manjimup. The chocolate, fudge, sauces, soap and candles are made in the region, and the teas are blended or packed here; some ingredients, like cacao and tea leaf, come from further away. Obison says it roasts every batch itself, by hand, to its own recipe, for now off-site rather than at its Origins Market stall.

Do you sell these stocking fillers?

No. We're an independent guide, and you buy from each maker directly. Every gift links to the maker's own site for the current price and postage, and none of these makers paid to be here.

This is an independent guide: we're not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these makers, none of them paid to be here, and we don't sell their products. You buy from them directly. Something changed or wrong? Tell us and we'll fix it the same week.
