Eagle Bay Olives

Apple Balsamic is a fruit-based vinegar condiment the maker describes as sweet and tangy, with rich, fruity notes running through it. Use it anywhere a bottle of balsamic would usually go: whisked with olive oil over a salad, brushed onto roast vegetables, or a few drops finishing a plate of soft cheese.

It is made at the family-run Eagle Bay grove on Cape Naturaliste Road, Western Australia, on a property first planted in 1998. The bottle sits in a wider pantry range alongside the farm's dukkah and tapenade, all made at the one address on the Cape Naturaliste peninsula.

Start with the 100ml bottle the first time you try it, then move up to the 250ml if it becomes a pantry regular for roast dinners and barbecues.
