Mint and chocolate is the after-dinner pairing everyone knows, and this drinking chocolate puts it in a mug. Stir the powder into hot milk and you get a cup of cocoa with a cool mint finish, like the chocolate mints that come out at the end of a dinner party, only warm.
It's one of several drinking chocolates from The Margaret River Chocolate Company, alongside flavours such as classic, white, mocha, caramel and chilli. The company began in 1999 in a farm shed on a dairy at Metricup, Western Australia, and its original factory there still has free tastings, a cafe and a window where you can watch the chocolate being made.
