The Margaret River Chocolate Company
A one-kilogram milk chocolate bar is less a snack than an event. The Margaret River Chocolate Company's giant bar is scored into squares so it breaks apart cleanly, which makes it built for sharing: at a party, in the staff room, or over a long weekend with the whole family.
The company began in 1999 in a farm shed on a dairy at Metricup, near Margaret River, Western Australia, and the original factory is still there, with free tastings, a cafe and a window onto production. The maker says it wins more Perth Royal Food Awards than any other chocolate company, year after year. It featured the giant bar as a new release in September 2026.
Set it in the middle of the table at a birthday and let everyone snap off their own square.
