Citrus & Coffee Grounds Soap

Citrus and coffee grounds soap is a scrubby bar: the grounds give it texture, and a blend of orange, May chang, lemon, lime and rosemary essential oils gives it a sharp, zesty smell. A pinch of saffron goes in too, with shea butter and olive, coconut, avocado and castor oils. If you like the scent but not the scrub, the maker also makes a Citrus bar.

Elamoore Natural Soaps is a small soap maker in Busselton, Western Australia, with a stall inside Origins Market. Every bar is cold process, made in small batches and cut by hand, with no palm oil and no fragrance oils. You choose whether it arrives unpackaged or with an ingredients label.

Keep it by the back door for hands that have been in the garden, or give it to the coffee lover who has everything.
