Casablanca Soap

Casablanca is a bar soap built like a fragrance rather than a soap scent: Japanese grapefruit and bergamot over marine, aquatic notes, closer to an aftershave than a bathroom bar. Moon Haven says it's one soap that men and women both reach for, which is unusual in a range built mostly around florals and citrus.

It comes from Moon Haven, a four-generation family business in Busselton, Western Australia, which makes it by hand and sells it online. Every bar is poured and cut in small batches, then left to dry and harden. The formula behind the range took three years to settle on.

Put it in the shower for a partner who won't use anything floral, or pack it for someone who wants their soap to smell more like cologne.
