Cucumber Mint Soap

Cucumber Mint is a bar soap made with Lebanese cucumber puree and scented with a blend of spearmint and peppermint essential oils, a cooler, greener scent than the citrus bars in the range. It smells more like the vegetable garden than the bathroom cabinet.

Four generations of the one family now run Moon Haven, a business in Busselton, Western Australia, that started in a home kitchen around 2000 and today sells online from its own site. Every bar is still poured and cut by hand in small batches, then left to dry and harden. The family spent three years getting the formula right.

Keep a bar in the shower through the height of summer, for rinsing off at the end of a long, hot day outside.
