Spearmint and green tea soap is a cold-process bar built on an extra virgin olive oil base, the way Vasse Virgin has made soap since it started. Spearmint smells cool and green, like crushed mint leaves, and the green tea sits underneath it with a slightly grassy, savoury note. The bar comes in a 100 gram size, made with pure spearmint essential oil and natural green tea.
Vasse Virgin's founders, Louis and Edwina Scherini, began experimenting with this kind of cold-process, olive oil soap in their own kitchen. The business now makes its soap and skincare on an olive oil base, with teas, clays, herbs and spices added for texture and colour, and essential oils for scent. It sells the range from stores in Margaret River and South Australia.
Keep a bar by the kitchen sink or in a guest bathroom.
