Nannup honey, in this guide, comes from one family and a lot of bees. Foragers Honey is based at Barrabup, near Nannup. It keeps its hives at permanent sites across the South West, chosen for the variety of what flowers around them. Jarrah is golden and slow to set, from a tree that grows only in the South West. Foragers says the tree flowers only every two to three years. Every jar is raw, extracted in a centrifuge and gravity strained rather than heavily filtered. The business says it uses no chemicals on its bees or hives and takes only the honey the colony doesn't need.
