Kahava

Kahava is one of Yahava KoffeeWorks' three signature coffees, a single origin from Southern India's coffee-growing regions, marked with a tiger on the label. It's sold as whole beans or ground for a long list of brew methods, from plunger and stovetop through to home espresso, in 250g, 500g and 1kg bags, or a 500g refillable tin.

Yahava started in 2001 in a shed on Metricup Road, where founder Alex Kok, known on the label as the Koffee Baron, travelled to coffee-growing regions by motorbike to source beans and roasted them himself. The company has since grown into cafes and stores across Western Australia.

Fill the tin once and refill it from a bag after that, so the same coffee ends up on the bench every morning.
