Margaret River Roasting Co
Midnight is the darkest of Margaret River Roasting Co's house blends, a bold coffee with deep cocoa notes and a flicker of citrus lifting the top. It holds its flavour through milk, and stands just as well as a black coffee, sold as whole beans or ground for the stovetop, espresso machine, pour-over, French press or Aeropress.
The company roasts in Vasse, Western Australia, in a solar-powered roastery with a cafe built into the working space, so visitors can watch the roasting over a cup. Packaging is biodegradable and compostable.
Take a bag camping and brew it black in a stovetop pot at first light, or keep it for the mornings that need a darker cup.
