The Daily

The Daily is Margaret River Roasting Co's everyday coffee: a medium to dark roast with tasting notes of cocoa, roasted hazelnut and salted caramel. The maker calls it full-bodied, built to cut through milk or stand up as a bold black coffee.

Against its siblings, Midnight is the bold blend with deep cocoa and a hint of citrus, Genesis is lighter, with hazelnut and stone-fruit notes, and Old Faithful is another smooth everyday blend. The maker lists The Daily for stovetop, espresso and French press, and sells it as whole beans or ground for those or for pour-over or AeroPress. A 250 g bag makes about 15 to 18 double-shot cups, the maker says.

Seeing it in person
