Rainfall is a single-origin decaffeinated coffee from Colombia, decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process, which the maker says uses glacial meltwater rather than chemicals to remove 99.9 per cent of the caffeine. It won gold in the decaf category at the Golden Bean Australasia awards in 2026. It's sold as whole beans or ground for a long list of brew methods.
It comes from Yahava KoffeeWorks, which started in 2001 in a shed on Metricup Road, where founder Alex Kok, known as the Koffee Baron, travelled to coffee-growing regions by motorbike and roasted the beans himself. The company has since grown into cafes and stores across Western Australia.
Brew it for an after-dinner cup, or for anyone who wants the ritual of coffee but not the caffeine.
