Raw Hemp Protein

Raw hemp protein is a plant-based powder made from 100% Australian-grown hemp seed, sold for mixing into food rather than eating on its own. It sits on the farm's pantry shelf alongside its cold-pressed hemp seed oil and raw hemp hearts.

It comes from Vasse Valley Hemp Farm at North Jindong, in the Margaret River region of Western Australia, where Chris and Bronwyn Blake set up the business in 2017.

The maker suggests it for smoothies, protein balls and baked goods, including bread. Stir a spoonful through a smoothie, or work some into a loaf where a plant-based ingredient suits the mix.
