Nougat & Nice
Blueberry and rose is the prettiest nougat in the Nougat & Nice range, with rose petals scattered over the top and dried blueberries, almonds and cashews through the middle. The rose is gentle, more a scent than a flavour, and there's a note of lemon behind it.
Nougat & Nice began in Bunbury, Western Australia, in 2016, when pastry chef Sarah Sorensen developed her own nougat recipe, one that leans on honey more than most. The nougat is made in the business's own kitchen in the South West, and the factory outlet in East Bunbury is open to the public. A share of the outlet's sales goes to local community groups, clubs and schools.
It's the box to give on Mother's Day, or to put out with a pot of tea when friends drop by.
