Honey nougat and panforte made in Bunbury since 2016 by a pastry chef, in flavours from honey almond to fig and raspberry, with a factory outlet in town.

Nougat & Nice started in Bunbury in 2016, when pastry chef Sarah Sorensen worked out a nougat recipe of her own. It leans on honey more than a standard nougat does, and every batch is still made in the business's own kitchen in the South West.

The flavours go well past the classic. Honey almond is the starting point; from there it's fig and raspberry, blueberry and rose, cranberry and pistachio, a cherry and hazelnut nougat in dark chocolate, and a layered dark chocolate and peanut. It comes as 150g blocks, 200g gift boxes and 100g bars. There's also an Italian-style panforte and snack pouches of coated and honey-roasted nuts.

The factory in Mummery Crescent, East Bunbury, is open to the public, and a share of what's sold at the factory outlet goes back to local community groups, clubs and schools.

The nougat also ships Australia-wide from the maker's online shop.
