Kailani Sterling Silver Turtle Ring

Sea turtles turn up off the West Australian coast, and they turn up often in MiKi's jewellery. The Kailani ring shapes a sterling silver turtle around the finger, with a blue opal detail on its shell that catches the light. Like all the maker's opals, it's lab-created. The ring is part of the Kailani turtle set, which also includes studs and a necklace.

MiKi Jewellery was founded by Nic, who dived for pearls in Broome after years of travel and later began designing her own pieces. Every design is sketched by hand at the studio in Dunsborough, Western Australia, then modelled on computer, cast and set. The metals are picked so the jewellery can go in the sea with you.

It's the ring for a snorkeller, or for anyone who has swum alongside a turtle and never got over it.
