Ariel White Opal Silver Necklace

The Ariel necklace is a small oval pendant in sterling silver, set with a white opal that flashes pale colour as it catches the light. It's a quiet, everyday piece, the kind you put on in the morning and forget you're wearing until someone asks about it. The opal is lab-created, as are all the maker's opals.

MiKi Jewellery was started by Nic, who worked as a pearl diver in Broome after years of travelling, before she began designing jewellery of her own. Every piece begins as a hand sketch at her studio in Dunsborough, Western Australia, and is then modelled on computer before it's cast and set. The metals are chosen so the pieces can be worn in the sea.

Wear it with a white shirt on a summer evening, or give it to someone who can't stay away from the beach.
