Record Coffee Roasters
Side A is Record's house espresso, a blend built to taste good whether you drink it black or with milk. It's 45% Brazilian, 45% Ethiopian and 10% Colombian, and the roaster's tasting notes read like a dessert menu: dark chocolate, fudge, hazelnut praline and red apple.
Record Coffee Roasters roasts every batch at its roastery and tasting room in Cowaramup, Western Australia, which opened in July 2025. The two roasters trained under Master Roaster Anne Cooper and ran a roastery in Victoria's Dandenong Ranges before moving west in 2021. They named the business after vinyl: Side A for the everyday coffees, Side B for the rarer ones.
It's the one for the espresso machine at home, the coffee you reorder without thinking about it.
