Eco Reed Diffuser

This reed diffuser scents a room without a flame. Ten reeds sit in 250ml of fragrance, drawing it slowly up from the bottle. Choices include Karri & Jarrah, a mix of orange, bergamot, sage, lime and vanilla, and Boranup Mist.

Ryan & Co Candlemakers, a family business in Bunbury, Western Australia, makes its diffusers in recycled glass bottles collected from the Margaret River region. The bottle colour changes from scent to scent, and each one is topped with a wooden cork lid. The same thinking runs through the candles, poured into local bottles cut by hand.

Set it on a hall table, or give Boranup Mist to someone who remembers the drive through the karri forest south of Margaret River.
