This body butter is whipped rather than poured, so it goes on light instead of dense: a blend of mango, cocoa and shea seed butters with beeswax, worked with apricot kernel and grapeseed oil to keep the texture soft. It has no water in it at all, which is why the farm says it needs no added preservative.
Capricopia makes it on its own property in the Margaret River region, Western Australia, where the beeswax comes from the hives the farm also keeps for its candles. It is sold in a Pure version and a Floral one, scented with essential oils.
A small jar suits a bag or a bedside table, and the 120ml size is easy to send as a gift without it feeling like an afterthought.
